70% of the world’s populations lives in rural areas. Therefore, these areas are becoming increasingly vulnerable to environmental degradation. 


This is happenning, as the poorest countries in the world are extremely dependent on agriculture and the use of natural resources.


Threats, such as water contamination or natural catastrophes, have brought consequences to public health and the development of economical activities.

GOAL #7:

  3. Bullet Approximately 1.8 million people die annually due to diseases provoked by consumption of improper water or food.
